Next week in CCW, shoot out with a Midget 1500. The Pic shows a '78 Lido, YAP68T. Sure i've seen that Reg somewhere!!!!! Go on, tell me it's a well known Owners Club car! A Ha, just found it in Phil Wards collectors guide, then owned by Geoff Oliver of Londons X1/9 centre, anyone know who owns it now, come on Jim, you normally like making me look like the X1/9 novice that i am!

Strangely, they had exacxtly the same shoot-out in Classics Monthly back at the end of November (see my posting below, 1st December). I wonder if its the self-same article being recycled?

Nige - For once my encyclopediac memory of boring X1/9 triva/facts is blank on this one, I don't know who owns YAP 68T now (although the registration number does ring a bell!!)....

Lupin - nope its not the same article, I can assure you of that... cos it was my green 1300 up against the Midget in the "Classics Monthly" feature! back in December...

The Midget pictured is orange, if i remember the midget you smote to all parts Jim, was blue! I wonder if the Lido owner will be named?

Hooray, the writer in the CCW Midget/X1/9 shootout chose the X. Couldn't see a club sticker & the owner of YAP68T is still a mystery!
