It's not a great programme, IMHO, it feels like a missed opportunity rather than an insight into the American dream. I'm a huge classic American car fan (as well as the X, I also own a '59 Ford Galaxie) and I always end up feeling that his programme isn't really delivering.

Nice to see an Exey on the telly, though. Even if they mugged it off and can't pronounce Fiat properly

It's probably on the dave i-player equivalent.
I'm not a big fan of the show. If it's on and there is nothing else more interesting on then I'll watch it....same goes for the chris evans top gear really. BBC.....bring back clarkson!!

That is the first episode of 'Jay Leno's Garage' CNBC version I have seen as I didn't realise it was shown on Dave and I have to say its a diluted and dumbed down version of his YouTube channel. Its a little like top gear which is desperate to avoid coming across like a nerdy program. Jay Leno's 'real home made show' on YouTube is much more in depth for the connoisseur...

Although he doesn't do the top gear style stunts on the you tube show... he does have guest in with their cars from all over the place.

The X1/9 looks like the best investment to me! Not many people have 50k to spend on a 50's 'Lunchia' (as they call it). It seems that like a lot of people Jay just doesn't 'get' the X1/9 and shown no knowledge of the car.

Aren't they saying Bertone wrong too?

In fact American pronunciation of cars is hilarious - have you ever heard them trying to say Renault or Peugeot :)

Agree about the pronunciations, I work in the states from time to time and the advert for the local "Ni-saan" dealer always catches me out
