Thank you Rachael! Glad you enjoyed it :) I think my traveling companion enjoyed it. Not the firm suspension on some of the pot hole ridden back roads though ;)

Niall, brilliant filming considering the weather we had. Hope you sorted the squeaky wiperblades and looking forward to Part 2!!!

Thanks a lot Damon for the feedback :) No not yet, haven't got round to the wipers. Thankfully it hasn't rained too much lately ;) Part 2 is coming along, should be ready soon.

My wipers made that exact noise today and they have since I got them unless its raining A LOT. They are Blucol, probably rubbish but what is the secret to quiet wipers??? I'm going to find out! Its always bugged me

I haven't changed my wipers since I got the car around this time last year, so I don't know how old they are. I do use a glass cleaning solution (name escapes me at the moment) which usually helps the water bead off more, helps the rubber a bit too (on previous cars). The rain on the day was typical wet mist. When it did actually rain heavily on a few occasions, the wipers didn't squeal. So the same scenario as you. I'll replace them soon I think.

You can buy 'Rainx'. I had this product on a 'GTM' kit car I owned many years ago. It's ok however your best bet is to buy new wipers. I would advise to go for a decent branded wiper blade as the cheaper wipers deteriorate quickly.

I use PIAA Silicone wipers which you run dry for a few minutes after you fit them and they leave a film on the screen just like applying RainX. When the rain gets at all heavy (as long as I am travelling over about 50mph) then I switch the wipers off and the rain blows off of the screen. I use them on all of my cars as the coating also helps when you have to scrape frost off of the screen. I bought the last lot from: www.priracing.com They are however quite expensive.
