It's so good to see an original example. I have one in my garage exactly the same however need to try and source a complete windscreen surround to graft on. Went to a breakers yard in Paddock Wood recently where they cut an X1/9 up however discovered they had then crush the whole car. So no surround . I also am trying to source front and rear wings. I can source them from abroad however they are expensive. Any helpful advice greatly appreciated club members!!!!

Yep, there is nothing like the clean original lines of a 1300.... there are a couple of X1/9's being broken for spares on ebay at the moment, perhaps its worth firing off an email to the sellers to ascertain the condition of their windscreen surrounds and whether they would be willing to hack it off for you! There is also a new old stock rear wing panel on ebay too for 350 notes, if you're feeling flush with cash.....

Can we see some pictures of your car Damon?. And I hope you've got plenty cash and a real lover of the X because to replace both rear quarters front wings and screen surround will cost you more than the car is worth at the end of the day, and that's before you get tore in about everything else?
