Seen at Brooklands yesterday two lovely X1/9s.
One F reg Prototipo replica and the other a hardcore track car with 300bhp and six speed paddleshift transmission.
The latter was owned by Mike Kason who took to the test track - it looked and sounded awsome.
This was a really well attended event and the X1/9s were getting loads of attention from the public.
Cheers Chris.

I have not been to one of the breakfast meets at Brooklands myself but if the event last weekend was anything to go by they should be well worth a look. I think these events are held monthly at the museum which is great as there is loads to see whilst there.
Rob I didnt take any pictures as I was too busy just staring at the precious metal - there are some clips of the X1/9s on youtube though.
Cheers Chris.

I think the entry and breakfast is thirteen pounds which is three pounds more than is normal. From memory I think its held the last Sunday of the month. It would be good to get some of our cars to roll up on the breakfast Sunday.
I have seen the Napier Railton on the move at the Enfield show, what a machine, the guy that drove that in anger was one brave man.
