Classic Cars - Feb. edition

Used sporty fiats article mentions X1/9s........ "Prices not likely to rise anytime soon ! "

Any particular reasons why, seems odd that you hardly see any on the road, i thought rarity equalled an increase in prices?
Having said that, i don't think anyone owns an X to see it increase in value, i think trying to KEEP it's value would be a good starting point!
