Well, its a kind of spot, its my own! Its a bit 'merchant ivory' but I'm working on it!
I bought it in May. Out of boredom I googled the reg number one night and found some pics of it (in better condition!) It was originally silver but has been resprayed white at some point.
I stay near Ayr in Scotland. I bought it from a guy in Rosyth, Scotland but the latest tax disc (Expiring August 2008!) was bought in South Yorkshire. According to the google search 'TWL' registrations were issued in Oxford in 1981.
So, why am I telling everyone this? Because it has an X1/9 owners club sticker! I wondered if anyone remembered it, has a pic of it or knows who previously owned it.
Any help gratefully received!

Anyone?
Does the club keep records of previous owners or their cars?

PETER! THATS FANTASTIC! Thank you!
The car does show signs of a caring owner. The respray (in white) does appear to have been carried out to a high standard. The car is a lot better than my current pictures suggest, the guy I bought it from has started to prepare it for a respray himself and from what I can see, its not rotten!
I do need to do a few bits of welding but thats largely down to the leaking windscreen and lack of use.
If anyone else has any pics/details of TWL I'd be very grateful!
