Used Car Roadshow - steering wheel

Some program on Men&Motors last night.

Had a feature on steering wheels.

Flashed three steering wheels from different cars, one of which was a 1300 X1/9.
On the screen all of about 0.25 second!!!

Still counts as a spot....

Noted this morning the return of the X1/9 Special edition/GF red in the back streets

On E-bay, red std 1500 with severe fire damage to engine compartment!
Should i fit a fire extinguisher?

Hello X1/nige.
I think the main causes of engine fires on X1/9 are the fuel pipes - if they're are a bit too long they will touch and rub the sharp edges of the air filter boxes' inlet; just after they exit the fuel tank. (The original ones on mine were worn away here).
Another good reason to replace them if you havent already!
