The New Car

Hi All
Meet the new addition, 1980 1500 standard 43k miles and in pretty good but bland condition been stood in a garage for several years, anyone know the history of this car? the guy I got it from was not a club member but the car sports a club sticker



This is the one that's going to be green and have the Lancia Delta Turbo engine and this time im not selling it under the pretence of finishing the Silver Streak again (that ships sailed)

Looks a good base car to start with Mark.

Both my previous exxies were silver and my first was a 1979 model very similar to yours. However that one now resides in the great rust bucket in the sky!

Thanks Graham, got a bit fed up after you took the blue beastie kept looking at the silver streak and could only see work work work

I wanted a car to drive, have just spent all weekend doing the brakes, discs hoses and shockers all where shot or on there way out, but luckily i already had all the parts for the silver streak.
Next weekend will be engine service and full coolant service and then hopefully brum brum and MOT time.

In those receipts I gave you with the car did you find a Halfords receipt for a battery from this year as I can not find the one I bought for the s/streak and its now not holding a charge (bloody rubbish new batteries) but can not return it without proof of purchase.

I've had a good look and can't see a receipt from Halfords at all.

I do have a spare battery though that you are quite welcome to if you are arround my area anytime.
