1988 x1/9 , e486 yhs

hi does anyone know the history on this car , got it on monday , the body work on the car is really bad , going tu try and get it going over the weekend, don't know what model it is , but i have noticed ther was a plate fitted onto the panel between the rear seats , somebody has removed it

Could be that there was a manual choke conversion previously fitted with the knob situated inbetween the seats?

no the car has still got the auto choke fitted and there is no holes going into the engine bay , the plate is on at top of panel behind seats and about two inches below the rear screen

what about a rear brake light bracket?
