Tracing CRT 588Y

Hi,
I was the second owner of CRT 588Y (1500 Metallic Rosso Red) in the late 1980's.

I have been trying to trace the car for a while. A call to the DVLA providing some information regarding the last time it was taxed which was 1994, but no info on if it has been scrapped.

Unfortunately SORN wasn't in effect then so the car could have been scrapped or it could be sitting in a barn somewhere.

Several reason for trying to get it back if possible, so if anyone has any info about it I would be grateful to know.
