I was spotted by a brick! was created by Joe
Woke up to find a piece of someones house wall nicely tucked into the slightly concave windscreen this morning.
Judging from the noice and pretty lights through the bedroom curtains, would guess this was related.
The owner of the brick might be missing it, but it's currently plugging the hole.....no there wasn't a love letter wrapped around it...or an address for it's return.
Thankyou to the Manchester Police for being so honest. No, I'm not dealing drugs or nicking cars, which is why I'm of no interest....or suitable television fodder.
Just hope the silicone around the brick holds out.....another new windscreen is not going in until tommorrow "a FIAT what?"...ah yes,....i should be use to it by now.
Hmm city life......so thats why my premium doubled when I moved!

Sorry to hear about that, hope the scum get their just desserts very soon....
Typical of the cops not to be interested either!
If you have to leave it parked out on the street outside your house, why not rig up a webcam with motion detection software aimed at it or even a cheap CCTV system?

I know Paul...you did!.....I still can't quite believe the secondhand highway code going for £1.80...Admittedly, it is the revised/ current edition. But they're only £1.49 new!....and it says so on the cover!....and I keep getting them free through Instructors centre!!!...another book that cost £8 new, went for £15!
Aaaah, the wonders of ebay and the bid crazy syndrome will never fail to amaze me...they'll be a book club forum somewhere complaining about me I'm sure?!
Hey Jim, what's incredible about the Police responce is that we saw a Police van outside at the time of the thud sound now known to be the windscreen breaking.......so considering the car was on a drive you would think a knock on the door, or even just something put through the letterbox would not be too much to ask  ....oh well....these things are sent down to test us I think.
Oneof my stills cameras with very high speed film and nocturnal lens is now stashed in spare bedroom ready for low light action....."my name is Micheal Caine, and I'm a nosey neighbour" LOL

Really sorry to hear about that Joe
It really sickens me to hear of such scummy behaviour
Welcome to Manchester indeed, we are not all brick throwing scum.
Where in Manchester are you then?
Dave
