When I was in Aberdeenshire, I passed through some amazing countryside and I just couldn't believe how clean it was there. I came back to Bridge of Weir and Paisley and realise the shit we put up living in. The roads are shocking, there's litter everywhere and it appears nobody cares anymore.
My ancestors are from the Aberdeen area and I know my grandmother who followed my grandfather to Malaya, always wanted to come home to where she was born. I can understand now that sun and heat is not always a reason to want to leave a country but I belive the problem exisits in certain parts of the country.
Renfrewshire from what I can see is a shithole............all I need now is to put that web site up I have always promised..........toilet_Paisley.com :shock:
Guess you do not remember going before the oil industry took off. dual carriage way with lots n lots of roses which you could smell driving by and the aerodrome was as dead as Renfrew is today Can even remeber eating fish n chips (real fish) by some ornate building by a sandy beach close to the city center late sixties early seventies
