Hello All!

I went into a my favourate Shell garage today. It's a small one in Highworth, nothing special really, except for the rather impressive range of specialist car magazines they stock. Apparently the owner is a bit of a car enthusiast and thus the unusual treasure trove of car literature. I have never seen many of these titles anywhere else so even though it’s quite out of my way I try and make a visit once a month to grab a couple of magazines to keep me entertained in those quiet moments over the following 4 weeks.

Anyway one magazine caught my interest in particular today: The latest issue of Auto Italia (Issue 130), www.auto-italia.co.uk/ . This month they have an 8 page spread article on the Abarth X1/9 Prototipo. I haven't got round to reading it yet but it looks pretty in depth and claims to unearth secrets about it’s short life. I thought it might interest some enthusiasts so figured I’d give you a heads up before the next edition comes out.

In my personal experience it's quite hard to find a good X1/9 related article in magazines these days so I was quite chuffed with the find........in fact I'm off to read it right now - Cheers! :D

- EDIT-

Bugger - looks like Stuarttheslaphead posted this info up a good month ago - that's my bad for not checking all the way down the list of topics before posting. But still, it's a good article and worth a read!
