Holiday & Torino was created by Ewen Brown
Hope some of you saw Wednesday's Holiday edition of Holiday as they featured Torino and Lingotto where some of us lucky folk will be next week. If you want more info check out
www.bbc.co.uk/lifestyle
& choose Holiday.
Was superb but the real thing is even better.

Mixed feelings at missing the prog Ewen!
On the one hand, always enjoy seeing my favourite city on telly, but on the other would rub salt into the gaping wound that I'm not going this year!

You'll miss the barking and the Lambos on the station !
we ll miss the "Roberts"
always another year to look forward to, perhaps. Perhaps we ll see the Roberts convoy in action one year on a club trip to Italy 35 years this year since the cars was first produced. can not remember when the first club visit to the Factory perhaps its time to make plans to revisit before we and the cars get to old .

I know what you mean Gomer, have been in that situation many times in the last few years. No money as a student so making up for lost time.
Anythin you want back? If I could I'd bottle some of the atmosphere for you but I'd be sniffing it on the plane on the flight home.
Always next year.....always the next BIG Itlalian trip.........always the drive at Mirrafiori......NOW THAT'S THE ONE NOT TO MISS

Nearly there Frosty. What a way to kick start the season for real. Nothing better than a real Italian job. Think of all those wee Fiats, the food, the scenery, the history and the lovely Italian women.
Come to think of it, might not notice the women due to the sexy cars that make me feel wild & exotic  Clocks ticking.........batteries are charging, heart is beating faster...........Torino here we come

Sorry we've not been able to make it over there in the X1/9. However you may like to know that we were there in December, and managed to blag a walk around the rooftop test track. It was definitely an awe-inspiring place. Just amazing!
Unfortunately couldn't find any spare parts to fit in the suitcase
We may add that driving through Turin during rush hour is certainly not for the faint-hearted ............. Kim saw most of Turin centre through her fingers. Andy turned into a man possessed!
For Andy it was like a pilgrimage to Mecca!!!!! If you cut him in half I'd swear you'd see FIAT running through him
