This forum has just passed through the 200 member mark. Is there anything we can do to encourage even more of the membership to register and use the forum? it is worth the £25 membership fee for the forum alone. And is a very quick/convenient/cheap way to pass out info on regional meetings etc. Any thoughts?

A lottery grant to buy all members a brand new 17" laptop .. that's my suggestion !!

I have to say that out of the 200 members how many actually come on here regularly and read this, let alone post ?!

If you want to prove me wrong, ye quiet ones, do so below by saying "Aye" ...

I don't post that often but log on 4 or 5 times a week. I've found lots of useful info' from the site.

I think a 17" laptop's a bit small though - 19" is better :D

Been away from the Web for a week (sunning it up in Northumberland) and I'm half way through the Posts added since last log-in. It's been a busy week on the Forum

I am often logged on whilst at work as well as at home. The Mag is a good reference but the Forum is a really great way to find info and interact with other owners as well as enjoying the regular "healthy" debates and discussions.

The only real way to get people on the Forum is to keep making it interesting and worth using, even if there are only a couple of dozen regular writers. I reckon a large % of the 200 are just watchers who enjoy the benefits it provides without feeling the need to have their say (you probably find most comments are covered by those that do post anyway).

Don't the computer bods have all their stuff displayed on 40" plasma screens nowadays.

Sod the laptop, lets have a Lottery grant to refurbish all our Exxies

I'm with you guys. Don't post much but log on almost every day. I never get bored with learning more and more about our cars.

Like others I enjoy reading the posts several times a week. Although my posts are few and far between the information I gather from the forum helps to keep me interested in what is becoming a "pig" of a car to keep on the road at the moment.

That should be easier than trying to work out your formula Frosty!!! Are you one of those mathematical wizards that have just been recently taken off screen by BBC2? Is there a stick-on beard & glasses in the boot of your Exy?

Cheers,

Nige
