Quiet on the Forum!! What are you doing to your car?

I'm fixing the heater too, and all dashboard lights etc .. this is the ONLY thing on my car I haven't removed in the last 20 years ...

Next is putting back the auto sensation manifold .. is that jetex silencer straight through?

Yes its straight through, I think thats all they sell. The 1.75" may be better as I had to get an adaptor ring to fit onto the manifold, Also means I cant fit the rear grille etc, I was hoping it would fit inside but the large radius bend of the pipes means it doesnt. I dont think its one for the purists amongst us.
Prob the CSC system makes more sense, its just I was stingy at the time and whole lot only cost me £115 including the s/h/ manifold.

Ive also used foil wrap in a binding fashion over the joints between the manifold to pipe join as I had to cut it off as it was rusted on. I got the tip from a Saab forum, so I'll see how it lasts. Its self adhesive.

Get some of this in the magazine so Gomer doesn't need to resort to my knitting patterns.

Bruce - any sign of that guide you were talking about doing ?

I'm getting itchy feet wanting to do the same (the pod mod) to my car but heaven help me if I go in without a guide ... who knows WHAT could happen !!?! LOL

In case anyone's interested, here's my work in progress. Aiming to get her back on the road by March, but Feb is fast running out !! Not TOO much left to do, but it all takes time ...

I spent the weekend adding to my period stereo with the installation of a graphic equaliser & amp. It actually sounds pretty good. No CD players for me
