John O Groats to Lands End was created by johnny999
Dear all,
One of my Le Mans chums is just starting john o groats to lands end today in a modified morris minor. Thats after driving to lemans last thursday, home on sunday and then up to scotland yesterday. Yes he is barking!!!
However its got me thinking that this may be a suitable challenge for some X1/9's. Through my other car club contacts it should be possible to arrange this as 'touring assembly' through the MSA. Meaning that know special insurance etc is required whilst still having a couple of controls and a defined route.
If I could pull it off for 2007 would anyone be interested?

That's a very exciting proposal. I'd be very interested. I have a friend who cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats in 8 days. Shouldn't be too difficult a target for reliable old Gina....?

It has been suggested in the WNW area before and is one of the proposals for 2007.
The round trip as from wherever started is john o'groats to lands end and back, is less miles than the ireland trips.
If a route could be mapped out early some very cheap travelodge accom can be had if booked well in advance.
Arrangements need to start early.
