I saw a "roadster" at an x19 meet back in 1997.... I'm sure Frosty was there too... it was in north wales.. Butlitz I think.
Not this one though... it was bright red and looked great...

mfg will get him to send us the detials.
The one at Butlitz I think also had a Turbochagred engine and latter painted a lovely shade of red was displayed at the NEC after its trip to the Artic circle yep no kidding !!!

Saw the Mark and Caroline at the monthly East Anglia evening meet back in April When I dropped of a couple of Minichamps and Schuco model they still have ther red 1500 X1/9
their one and a half has moved on did see it at one of StuartSlapheads meets some years ago

Since I have plenty of time available afterOctober I wonder if my 1500 that is rotting on my drive will be up for a conversion..............
I know nothing about it but a very fast learner. Google may come in handy and also the better halfs permission...........

the car went to the Artic Circle now there cant be many standard X1/9 from the UK done that trip

Whilst I'm pretty good with Photoshop, I have to hold up my hands and tell the truth - I didn't do that convertible effort, I just found it by pure chance floating around on the 'net and remembered this thread and stuck it up... :lol:
