Behaviour towards the web space provider - Rob's mag article

Posting a topic relating to this is perhaps not the most ideal thing to do. These things are often dealt with and closed by the appropriate people, in the case, our secretary Robo, and left at that.

However, I feel the need to post something. Not for me to comment, provoke an argument, discussion or even repeat what Rob wrote. These things are not the easiest to comment on without sounding all hamfisted. The meaning is well intentioned, and makes me feel better doing so.

This is just to vent my sadness and concern upon reading Rob's piece in the recent magazine regarding a member's inappropriate behaviour toward this website's space provider. It is a shame to think a minority of members could potentially ruin the club and it's facilities for the majority of members, I guess with implications above and beyond lose of a website.

I can only imagine what such an awkward position this has put the club in, and a difficult time for the secretary, chairman,Internet team and other committee members.
As a member I can also only offer my apologies to the ISP on behalf of , I'm sure, the majority of members.

I for one would like to say this website is one of the mediums by which several of members, including myself, have gained vast knowledge and experiences which do indeed also buoy us up when our cars are not road worthy or used.

In summary it adds to our enjoyment of X1-9's without intimidation, abuse, bullying or violence, and to promote the car, club and benefits or being a member to others, without the use of such.

I offer my full support and friendship to all those who I know feel the same way. As a member I feel (and would hope others feel) that anyone else with conflicting ideas certainly have no place in the X1-9 Ownersclub.

So, to the x1-9 Ownersclub, and all supporters who sail in her! (oooh err)
long may it live, prosper and be a beacon to others!

cheers,
Joe
