replacing old pancake filter

hi , ive decided to go down the route of replacing my old pancake air filter assembly , the reason is that its starting to rust and on the inside its got small particles of paint flaking , this ive found out keeps blocking the jets , ive ordered a new piper x assembly this weekend from burton performance and ive removed the inner cover from the engine top cover to aid with cooling , as the filter will get hot sitting above the exhaust , ive also ordered a cheap airscoop and i will prob fit this as well forward facing to assist in scooping cold air onto the filter , when done i will post pics , and if your intereste david moult has a very interestin channel on you tube , i have done a few of his mods that he suggests
