Nick troth did a thorough waxoyling when we first had the car, and again a couple of years later. I’ve just used lanoguard to go over the car again. There was no rust at all to start with, but a top up isn’t going to harm. I’m planning on doing the 2cv next and then my modern fiat.

Yes i understand lanoguard is good but you have to renew it yearly with it, wheras waxolyn stays alot longer

i used 15 litres of ankor wax , sprayed in every hole after removing the factory grommets , and on all the panels inside and the inside of doors , i then drilled holes in the sills the top of them , and the door box sections , and sprayed 5 cans of bol cavity wax in them i sprayed the coil springs and the brake lines as well
