STOP PRESS! 2024 X1/9 NATIONAL EVENT DETAILS was created by Rob Warren
This year's event is at Castle Combe Race Circuit, marking the 40th anniversary of the X1/9 Owners club, the same venue where it all began.
On Friday 6th September we will meet at Lansdowne Strand Hotel in Calne. Saturday is at the race track. We have a designated stand at the Forge action day and tickets to the whole event are just £22.50 (discounted) per car. Please contact David Bathurst (our National event Organiser - email: dbathurst@hotmail.co.uk tel: 07753 821636) for instructions on how to register and obtain your discount code. A parade lap is included!
We will be having a meal on the Saturday night followed by a Sunday morning trip to the Atwell Willson Motor Museum. We will conclude the event at Avebury World Heritage Site.

that's great news Rob Silverstone parade lap in 2022 was fantastic fun I absolutely recommend you put this in the diary and get your X19 on the road in whatever form you can

Looking forward to this I have been lying dormant from the car and club for some time due to work, family, loss of interest etc but I have dragged the old girl out of storage to get her ready in time for this event. So I'm looking forward to seeing old and new faces. The vodka boy's may have retired but I'll be there with my son who will now be my new vodka apprentice ;-)

Indeed she ain't pretty could do with a new coat but hopefully running fine by the time of the national lol.

So who are all the campers from my past experience with Nationals this is the place to be and were all the fun is to be had?

I see the National 2024 is not in the events section yet or have I missed something?

It's on the home page of the website, I need to get it added to the events.

Not sure who will be camping, as we are all getting on a bit now, the camping numbers have dwindled a bit....

**NATIONAL EVENT URGENT UPDATE**
With a little over 6 weeks to go, make sure you have booked your ticket for the Castle Combe Forge action day on Saturday 7th September. The cut off point to obtain one is currently the 12th August, however they have contacted us to say due to high demand, they may have cut the deadline sooner.
