Hello All,

I have just joined your club (again). I have recently bought a 1300 after many years of looking for one. I have previously owned two 1500's.

My car has recently been resprayed a non-standard green (Alfa Romeo Bottle Green), it was previosly red but I believe originally metallic blue.

She just needs recommissioning - it runs quite lumpy, the carb is running very rich. It needs a cambelt change, full service, brakes need sorting out.

I have already been in touch with some very helpful members, and started buying new and secondhand parts already.

Can anyone recommend an X1/9 friendly garage near Brighton ?

I hope to meet some of you sometime.

Although a non standard colour it looks quite good

Hi Andy,

Thank you. I do wish it had been resprayed in the origiinal colour. Green is my favourite colour, and it's a nice shade (had an Alfa GTV in this colour yesrs ago).

It does need compund cutting and a bit of correcting. Just bought some better wheels to refurbish and fit new tyres.
