Hi. My clutch pedal has started to make a pinging noise sometimes when retracting after putting in gear. Sounds like a spring pinging. Guessing its the spriing at back of pedal needing lubrication? Anyone else had this? Goes in gear fine, just started to ping!! Also the clutch slave cylinder was all replaced year and half ago so thats all good.

I did too and it works fine and is much less effort to use.
I did have to remove the pedal box and lubricate the pedal pivots after coming back from the NEC show some years ago as the clutch and brake pedals had a little interconnectedness after coming off the M40 with everything good and hot. The plastic bushes were seizing on the pivot shaft.

My clutch pedal spring has been making a pinging noise for a long time. Not had any problems with it.
