To sell or not to sell
I would be sad to part with it but am also thinking it's a waste just to keep it in storage. Any thoughts or advice from other members would be welcome before I make any decision.

1. Advertise to see if sells
2. If dont get what you want for it keep in storage as investment.
3. My 24yr son loves mine and so will prob leave for him after my time up so if you have younger ones that like it, leave it for them as inheritance!
Hope this helps a bit, but prob doesn't!

We do have a younger family member who loves the car but he is only 12 so could obviously change his mind!
Going with my head rather than my heart, I would probably prefer to see the car used properly by another enthusiast rather than just being put in storage.

I understand your predicament and like you, find that over the last couple of years I haven't used mine as much as I would have liked, and due to circumstances I have also considered whether it's time to move it on?
However, I came to the conclusion that it doesn't owe me anything and the times I have driven it have given me great pleasure.
There is nothing like that journey where there is a clear road, roof off and you can push the car abit.
I think what I'm trying to say is don't rush into anything if you don't need to. Your car is a beauty
Finally, if you need to chat, give me a call.
Cheers
Andy

Thanks for your sound advice!
Following Garry's comments too, I have more or less decided to hang on to my car, unless someone particularly wanted it and made me an exceptional offer.
As you say, it is a pretty unique example and I wouldn't want it to go to anyone but a true enthusiast. I will just have to start using it more which is not really a hardship!

Obviously, this is a bad time to be selling a csr which will just be a toy for someone, so maybe I'll keep the car for a while yet and try again next year. I suppose that the chances are that it won't depreciate in that time?

Think you and Peter are correct. Nothing appears to be selling at the mo what with petrol and cost of living rises plus possibly another heating bill whammy due October.
Get out and enjoy it!!
