I asked them about sneaking in on the Thursday. also, and here's what they said.

Car clubs can attend the site on a Thursday to set up any marquee or gazebo/structures they are bringing and have listed on the H and S form you will have completed. I will ask for info regarding this in the coming weeks.

Sometimes vehicles have to be brought in on a trailer because they are not road legal, but other than that, all other car club vehicles need to enter from the Friday morning

Of course, any car could be carrying a crucial piece of tape for that all-important gazebo.

Thiough what a kind of African antelope is doing on a club stand is anybody's guess.

I have just had a routine email from Silverstone saying that "... due to the later date this year, Car Club packages will remain on sale until 26 June"
Gives folk a little more time to book.

The official deadline has passed but I got an email from them a couple of days ago saying this "Although the display areas have now been mapped out, we do have a limited amount of capacity, so we are keeping the bookings open - subject to availability - to enable as many club members as possible to be part of the event this year."
So still time to head over to the Silverstone Classic website and get booked. You'll need the relevant code from the ad in the last mag.
