I spent last Sunday racing at Shelsley Walsh. I'd rather fallen out of love with the ca due to a run of poor results, but I forced myself to make some changes to the drive train and suspension, the difference was dramatic. Really enjoyed the competition and set a new PB. Off the Loton Park in a couple of weeks, this is my favourite event and so if the weather stays fair I'd be hopeful of another good set of results.

Well Loton Park was a mixed bag! It poured down on the Saturday morning, dried up a bit by the end of the afternoon. Sunday it raining most of the most of the morning but the sun came out in the afternoon and dried the track. Prior to the event I made a couple more changes to the suspension set up which meant that the car handled even better. I actually enjoyed the wet track,as the car is much more controllable, less fear of it spearing off into the scenery. I could have probably got a PB, but only after the event did I realise I was still driving the track as if it was under the old difficult set up, I could have pushed much harder given the improved handing.
