The Brecon National - numbers confirmed as attending so far was created by Rob Warren

I'm pleased to say we still have the green light for our National Event Weekend on 10th-12th September.

I'd like to get an idea of the numbers attending. Please could you add to this list and send me your contact details. So far confirmed we have:

Andy Rowley
Nick Troth
Steve Sharpe
Juliet
Mike Taylor
Craig Richardson
Rob and Char.
That's a minimum of 7 cars. I'm sure plenty now will follow...

We are coming but unfortunately not with the X1/9. No way will 2 dogs plus holiday luggage fit in and it is too far to bring 2 cars.

Me and Denice are coming - booked into a lovely B&B half a mile away.

Campers can expect to see us looking all clean and rested in the mornings.

At present, it looks like we have 17 X1/9s booked in for the event which is excellent.
For our trip on Sunday, Penbont require a pre-order. I've attached the menus. Please can you email me (broadhamhotmail.co.uk) at the earliest opportunity with your choice.

We have to preorder drinks as well?

In other news, I now know the Welsh for "ciabattas". It's the same as the English, but without the greengrocer's apostrophe.

Good afternoon X1/9ers!

The National is fast approaching so I'm hoping all of your cars are nearly ready.

A few points from me:

1. The deadline for ordering the excellent t-shirts that Juliet has produced for us is the 27th. That's this Friday!! If you want one, please go to the club website to order.

2. We are still waiting for lunch orders for the Sunday. The menus are on the forum so can you please check and email me with your requests.

3. Make sure you have a google maps app working on your phone. I would recommend a windscreen mobile phone holder for your car, you can pick them up for as little as a fiver! I will email you a link for both the Saturday and Sunday routes nearer the time. This means nobody can get lost or worry about being left behind.

4. If you are staying in a static caravan at Lakeside, the website states "Please remember to bring your own bed linen and pillows. Due to Covid-19 we will not be hiring bed linen, we will supply duvets.

5. I recommend taking a face mask with you. There are still some shops that politely request them to look after their employees..

Is there anyone going to Brecon from the South East & wants to convoy over? I'm in East Herts & going to travel Friday lumchtime/afternoon A120, A10, A414, A41 then A40. There will hopefully be two cars from Hertford onwards
