fiat 130 was created by David Moult

I read that the car was to have the 130 motor originally but due to the 1970's fuel crisis the four cylinder was put in. Would a 130 motor fit? Has any one done it? I am running out of drool just thinking about it.
A three litre twin cam v6 just behind me.
