Modern Fuel and E10 was created by Paul
The UK government is planning to introduce petrol containing more ethanol (E10) next year. Is this a real worry for classic car owners?

The effects of ethanol blended petrol were investigated as part of a series of tests run at Manchester University by the MG Car Club. These have now been published in a book: Classic Engines, Modern Fuel - the problems, the solutions. ( www.veloce.co.uk/store/Classic-Engines-M...Solutions-p151478624 .)

There is also a website supporting the book that may of of interest to readers. ( classicenginesmodernfuel.org.uk/ )
