X1/9 Owners Club National Event 2019 was created by Andy Rowley



Time has run away, so a slightly late posting, but yes, this weekend in the Blackpool area is the annual national gathering of the X1/9 Owners Club.

Just about got my car ready after flushing out the coolant system and sorting a leak out. All looking good and running a little cooler as well.

Hoping to meet up at the Villa Express with everyone tomorrow evening about 7pm, traffic dependant!!

My car is ready to go. Nick and i will be heading up in convoy via Newton/Wrexham and then the Mersey Tunnels Looking forward to a catch up!

I’m gutted to say I won’t be there, although I managed to get the X mot’d a week ago I’ve decided it’s too big a journey in an unproven car. I pledge to be in attendance next year and wish everyone going a fantastic weekend. Very gutted!

No worries. Its important to get a bit of confidence in the car.
There's a show at Stanford Hall near Rugby at the end of the month if thats not too far for you?

Well the weekend is over now. Great trip thanks to Phil & Lorraine for organising it (although Lorraine is claiming she did all the work!)

At the prize giving; Steve Farrell with his superb VS swept the board. If he'd lived further away than Germany he'd had the furthest driven prize as well!!

Ha ha thanks Andy, still can't believe it. Thanks to everyone for voting for my car. The x1/9's that were their all deserved to win and are credit to their owners. Another brilliant weekend.
