Hello,
I’ve just got in the car for a drive out, and found a loose fibre optic wire sitting in the footwell. I must have caught it when connecting my usb cable to the cigar socket but can’t find out where it’s from. All the switches light up and I have dashboard lights.
Suggestions please?

That looks like the one to the main headlight switch

Thanks, I’ll have a look- I considered it, but it didn’t look like the cable would reach that far across.

Edit. Yes it was the headlamp switch, but how it got that separated from it I don’t know. Perhaps it was last year when I Had a new master cylinder? The car hasn’t been out in the dark for at least a year.
