After searching for 14 months I have finally bought a car, the current climate full of sellers trying to palm off their overpriced rubbish now comes to an end. Currently there is an ‘84 VS on eBay with 16,000 on the clock for £20,000 and another ‘84 VS with 50k for £10,0000. I picked up the car above at a classic auction in Scotland yesterday . It’s an ‘84 VS with 47k , mot’d. The hammer came down at £1950 so I paid £2070 after fees and taxes. Video link below

LOL Adrian , I actually failed to notice that. The car has had paint for sure. I found a historic photo with a google search that shows it originally was 2 tone as you would expect.

Have you seen the one on Ebay on a buy it now for 750 quid?
It is a 1978/79 very early 1500. Hopefully the link below might work....

I hadn’t seen that, it must be very recent. With the new group 4 introduced into classic racing you can enter a car registered up to 31st December 85, so I will be racing the one from Scotland purchased yesterday. I’m in Lawford on the Essex Suffolk border.

You should have a good car to work with there then.

Yes it should be two tone paint scheme on that one. It is an early VS.
