Hi, Alan Hutton - a recent new club member. I attended the show on the Friday and really enjoyed some long chats with Rob, Simon and Ian and others too. Great to see a couple of pretty original cars in such fantastic condition.
Some of the rest of the show interest was average in comparison to your stand , especially all those modern cars for auction and the auto jumble (hmm, was that because there was no X1/9 stuff! there?).

Still working on getting my '85VS back running, MOT should be in a couple of weeks.
I owned my car since 1988 and it was doing garage durability work for 19 years till I decided to get it back running and with the help of my excellent mobile mechanic many things have been replaced / renewed ready for driving.
I hope to write a wee blog of all the things done over the past few months.
I must say I have enjoyed trawling through your club forums to "gen up" on problems to look out for and those helped us a great deal.
Winter will be for sorting out the well documented issues with the electrics and I will implement my own take on the famous BWM, wipers etc (electronics are my area!). More to come.
p.s. The gate staff took our printed tickets, they were .pdf and I could send a file copy if that helps.
