I’m posting a lot today as I keep having to walk away from the task I’m meant to be doing...otherwise I would have used Thor’s hammer by now.
We have a sit on mower for clipping the orchard. It’s a modern thing with a Kawasaki unleaded petrol engine. No points, no coil, no sensible maintenance access.
I’ve had to practically take the thing apart at the back, to get to the fuel filer; the middle to get to the air filters: the exhaust bracket, exhaust shield, fan mounting and shroud, to get to the carb bowl; and the front to get to the battery and ecu. You need arms of a child but the length of an orangutan.
After all this I’ve found why the thing keeps breaking down....
The fuel system is literally full of emulsified grass and seed like a resin. You would think that, on a mower, the tank filer and air filters would at least be up to the job of keeping that out....rant over, thank you for listening
