thermostat housing

I have a very good re conditioned thermostat housing with proper thermostat for sale. Mine was weeping under the rubber tubes as many do and corroding from the outside. I contacted X19 spares and they said that they would get one and recondition it for me £130. wow i thought, that's a lot but try to find one in good condition.
It came, it looked good, I installed it. The car ran much cooler. When I disassembled my original one I found that the wrong temperature thermostat was fitted, a higher temperature.
I reconditioned it myself and fitted the correct thermostat. Then I thought, hmm, the car is running very cool, alright for summer but not so good for winter.
I took out the X19 spares thermostat £130 one and took it to pieces. The thermostat was the wrong type all together, not double ended, just a plain simple type. I sent them an e-mail before Christmas but have heard nothing so there you are. My original one I have fixed is working perfectly and I have fixed properly the X19 spares one. It is for sale here first for what I paid for it but working properly. E-bay next. I am good at fitting thermostat housing now.
