Do I need to put in lead replacement or is it OK to run unleaded.

My mechanic told me I need the lead replacement so ive got some red x.

Mine is a 1981 1500.

Its been sat for a long time, I've just used my 1st half tank.

I've run mine on unleaded since 4 star was outlawed.
I've not had any problems and haven't used any additives. Just a tweak of the timing.

It is best to use the 97 octane though.
