inlet manifold

I am curious to know if water circulates through or just in the inlet manifold. I can see how water gets in but not out, if it does.

hi David, i took mine off recently, there are holes in the manifold gaskets that feed the coolant to the manifold, from the engine block. The hose from the manifold goes to the autochoke

Thank you. That saves me taking mine off to look. The Haynes manual is little help but I have drawn a diagram of how the cooling system works now.
