It will be issued to you separately by our membership secretary, Ewen, once he has processed your membership. If you joined online, you should immediately get full member access to the website. If you joined by post, it takes a while for Ewen to process this.
Re the "General Discussion" being greyed out, I'm not sure which screen you're on, but this isn't a forum category itself. It's a kind of parent category for News and Views, X1/9 Spotting etc, so you're not missing out on anything there.
