128 or 138 engine block

Did all 1300 blocks have 128 stamped on them , because i stripped an engine from an old 1300 that had 138 on the block but when measured the pistons they were 86 bore which is 1300. I thought only 1500's were 138 blocks?

138 blocks came in bore sizes of 80 and 86.4 depending on stroke and model. Original 1300 X19 had engine 128.AS.000 with bore 86 and stroke 55.5. 3 bore sizes have been used as standard in the sohc engine: 80, 80.5 and 86.4. I think this is correct but I'm sure others will chip in if I have made a mistake. While on this subject, I am interested in buying any short engines using the 80 mm bore, engine code 146.A2 as used in Uno turbo, condition not too important as would be used for the basis of a spare race engine.

i thought 138 blocks were 86.4 but this block has thrown me by being 86 bore
