Manual Choke

I installed a manual choke when I bought my car last year. Being new I used the small aluminium tube to connect up the water pipes. Well, today, knowing more, I removed one of the pipes and the alloy tube to fit one pipe direct from inlet manifold to the heater manifold. The alloy tube was completely blocked. I would never have known.

If these pipes are blocked the automatic choke wont work. It is always worth regularly flushing your coolant system out and checking places like this to ensure you are getting a good flow of coolant.
