Awards time of the year and I picked up a little bit of silver ware for A1 class in SBD HSA Championship on Sunday. Interesting event held at the Bugatti Owners Clubhouse at Prescott Hill – the speaker showed the first car built specifically for a “speed” challenge built in 1911 which was the Fiat S76 (4 cylinder with a capacity of 28 litres!!!). It set the mile record with a speed of 135 mph.
