copper earthing strap

Has anyone put one of these copper earthing straps from eurosport on, and did they make any difference?

I recently bought one of these straps to replace the original. Cameron the strap fits the gearbox to chassis member. Yours should have one and it's very important to earth out the engine.

I've not used one of the Eurosport copper straps, however, it is always good practise to replace them.
