Just back. A very early start and Andrew and I drove down the scenic route to Goodwood and arrived at 7.20. I think there were four x1/9 all together - I found a black one up the top end of the circuit as well.

Parked next to two very rare Lamborghini Silhouettes.

Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye Andrew and Tom- I was going to drive round and pop in to your paddock on the way out but they wouldn't let me.

I followed that red corvette up to haslemere-it was running appallingly, wandered around a lot and wouldn't accelerate. I could hear the misfire from my car.

Edit for Tom. When I got back I popped open the engine lid, and the cooling fans never came on. I'll try and time them for you sometime.

Lovely trip down, great cars, nice atmosphere, lovely trip back.

My highlight would be the amazing blue X1/9 on the pit straight. 47000 miles on the clock and it looked like it had just come out of the showroom. Exceptional!

On the way down though I'm sure I saw an amazing Ferrari convoy in the Petersfield/Liss area. Definitely an F40 and a grey 458, also I think there was a 250GTB and there was a couple of others I didn't recognise including a dark red 60's convertible. They didn't show up at Goodwood though.

Anyone else spot them?
