1300 Battery Tray

Just wanted to clarify with fellow owners, did the 1300 ever have a plastic battery tray? Mine doesn't as it only has the battery clamp. I believe there is a hole in the bodywork under the battery though for potential battery acid to drip through. Makes sense to fit a tray from a 1500 possibly.

My 1977 car doesn’t have a battery tray and I’m fairly certain it has retained all of its original kit. My previous 1978 car didn’t have one too.

Keith, thanks very much for the confirmation. Can I pick your brains regarding the cigarette lighter? Can you confirm that the cigarette lighter has or doesn't have an image of a cigarette on it? Reason being is that I bought an original(new) lighter and this has an image on it. I thought the 1300's never had this image. I know the instrument binnacle changed depending on year as my R reg 1300 has a different binnacle compared to my S reg.

Whilst I've changed my cigarette lighter for a reproduction Abarth one the original one from my car does have an image of a cigarette on it. However, there's always the possibility that this and the battery tray could have been changed / removed over the years.
