The 20,000 mile landmark.

Hi All,

Last Tuesday, the 14th of October 2014 at 11:50am my Fiat X1/9 registered 20,000 miles on the A46 Alcester bypass. Appropriately this was on the way to a car club lunch.

It has taken 33 years from purchase to get to 20,000 miles, hopefully the 40,000 mile mark will come up rather more quickly.

Best wishes,

Geoffrey.

Well done on reaching the 20000 mile landmark.

In another 30 years or so it will be just run in nicely!!!

Very nice Julian, nothing better than an exy in a bright colour :-)Italian point and squirt next to an American muscle car, quite a contrast :)

I love yellow on an X1/9. Sprayed my first ever 1300 Giallo Fly many years ago when I was 18. The alloys look really good and I quite like the idea of the little chrome door protector trim. Matches up quite nicely with the anti roll bar trim.

Thanks for the comments guys, glad you like it. They are great little cars, no doubt about it.
Not quite as quick as my Camaro, but, what I really like is the fact that you can have a big grin on your face at 'not licence losing speeds' pretty much complete opposite to the Chevy tbh.
