X1/9 Indicator stalk wiring for Lancia Stratos Kit was created by Mark Eaton
Hi guys,
sort of X1/9 related but only by virtue of a shared part.
I'm building up a ListerBell Lancia Stratos kit and befitting to its original design, the kit needs some of the components (gauges, switches, handles etc) that were pulled from the Fiat bin back in the 70s.
I've got an X1/9 column stalk assembly (dg rally supplied) which has an 8 way and a 6 way rectangular block connector and a single loose female spade wire. I'm trying to find the definitions for the pins. Buzzing them out has given some info but it's taking time and I wondered if any of you guys might have a relevant diagram of these connections that would allow me to patch it into the LB loom??
Thanks in anticipation, photo attached...

I wonder if this electrical trouble shooting manual would help identify the wires? Its for 80-81 US cars but if your lucky it might help.

Also the X1/9 Haynes Manual has circuit diagrams.

Mmm,
interesting but different from what I have i think. My washer stalk only has three positions (and possibly a 'pull'), the US manual suggests what you have over there is different (off, intermittent, slow, fast). I'll perhaps invest in a Haynes Manual and take it from there. But many thanks for the reference.
If anyone has any other notes though, they'd be gratefully received,
cheers
Mark.

Yes the pull, washer jet action is not very positive, there is no click on mine.
I'm in the UK and my 85 washer control has 4 positions including off as the US manual suggests.
