1300 electrical question

Hi, does anybody know what the 8amp in line fuse in a separate holder does on a 1300, looked in Haynes doesn't say?

I've just had a quick look under my dashboard, my car has a separate fuse holder on a large yellow cable. A similar cable goes into the back of the centre console, I'm not sure but it might be for the cigarette lighter. I'll have another look tomorrow.

Hi Cameron,
I've just pulled one of the wires away from the fuse holder, the cigarette lighter still worked but the Carello fog lamps didn't. So on mine I can say for sure it's for the front fog lamps. I hope this helps.
