This year's AGM was created by Rob Warren
The Club AGM will be held on Sunday 26th October, 10am at the Bell Inn,
Tong, Shropshire TF11 8PS
All of the positions are open to club members. It really would be
beneficial for the club to have some fresh blood, new ideas and goals. After four years, I will be stepping down from Editor-this role really is key for the survival of
the club to keep the communication going. I am more than happy to give help and guidance to any interested member. It really does give great satisfaction.

If you would like to register your interest for any of the roles (including Regional
Organiser), please email the Secretary, Steve Sharpe:
secretary@x1-9ownersclub.org.uk

NOTIFICATION OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Sunday 2nd November 2014
The Bell Inn, Newport Rd, Tong, Shifnal TF11 8PS
Tel: 01952 850210
Commencing at 11am
CALLING ALL MEMBERS … YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU!
The current Club Committee stands down at the AGM on 2nd November 2014. A new Committee then has to be elected at the AGM. Now’s your chance to take an active role in shaping and securing the future of this great club, by standing for one of a number of exciting and very rewarding positions within the committee. Without your help and enthusiasm, the X1/9 Owners Club as we know it, could be little more than a memory, within a very short period of time.
Though the closing date for applications has passed, if you have an interest in a particular post, you have the opportunity of attending the AGM and putting your case in person before the assembled throng! Give Steve Sharpe our club Secretary a call (07930 393746) if you’re tempted and he can give you the low down! The roles are listed below – remember a little enthusiasm goes a long way! If you would like to help shape the future of the club, we urge you to come along and make yourself heard.

Please note that the above posts are governed by the Club Constitution. Applicants for the role of an Officer are reminded that they must have been a fully paid-up member of the Club for at least 12 months prior to the AGM. Copies of the Club Constitution are available from the Secretary, along with the Club guidebook, which has job descriptions for the various Committee posts.
Directions to the Bell Inn: easily accessible situated just minutes from Junction 3 of the M54. Please bring your Membership card, which will admit you as a member, plus your partner. From past experience the hospitality on offer at the Bell is known to be excellent and includes free tea and coffee for all club attendees. There is a superb, varied and reasonably priced lunch menu available to all which can be served in the pub, once we have concluded the main business of the day. Travelling from further afield? Looking for an interesting weekend away? Why not combine the AGM with a visit to RAF Cosford, 2.6 miles and 7 minutes from The Bell. The museum boasts a treasure trove of attractions and is great for all age groups.
